We have been busy reading the memoir School Days.  Students have been taking notes as they read and writing their own memoirs.  They also have chosen an oral presentation partner and are working on a topic of their choice.  We have discussed what's expected in essays and thesis-driven presentations.  Students are working on thesis statements for their upcoming presentations.
